Students of the Month- November

Congratulations to the following individuals who were selected as Student of the Month. These students were chosen by the faculty because of their outstanding character, respect for others, Christian attitude and active involvement in the community of Seton-La Salle.

Name: Jacob Kubick
Grade: 9
Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yes, I didn’t even hear the announcement.
Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Golf and Bowling.
What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Never settle for 99.9%; always try to achieve your best.
What is your favorite subject, or class? Biology.
What are you hoping for in 2017? Better Geometry grades.

Name: Kyle Killen
Grade: 10
Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? I didn’t know because Student Council homeroom didn’t have their announcements on.
Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Soccer, Student Council, Boys Volleyball, DYC, Rebels for Life, Musical.
What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month?  Be yourself, because I did nothing special and I won.
What is your favorite subject, or class? Mr. Bowen’s english class.
What are you hoping for in 2017?  I make it to junior year.

Name: Lionel Deanes
Grade: 11
Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? I was very surprised.
Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Football.
What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? My main advice is if you’re scared to raise your hand don’t be because you’re doing it to learn.
What is your favorite subject, or class? U.S. History with Detwiler.
What are you hoping for in 2017? I’m hoping for a more studious me.

Grade: 12
Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Sure, Yes.

Cross Country and Campus Ministry.
What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Do your work and do your best.
What is your favorite subject, or class? Statistics with Mrs. Brinzer.
What are you hoping for in 2017? Graduate.
