Congratulations to the following individuals who were selected as Student of the Month. These students were chosen by the faculty because of their outstanding character, respect for others, Christian attitude and active involvement in the community of Seton-La Salle.

Name: Maggie Wilson

Grade: 9

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win?

“I was very surprised!”

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS?

“I’m involved in stage crew and lacrosse.”

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month?

“Work hard, study hard.”

What is your favorite subject, or class?

Geometry.”

What is your favorite thanksgiving food?

“Turkey.”

 

Name: Nyaira Arrington

Grade: 10

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win?

Yeah, I was.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS?

Silks and Bowling

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month?

Try to do your best in school, don’t worry about the grades just try to get everything in on time.

What is your favorite subject, or class?

Art

What is your favorite thanksgiving food?

Greens

 

Name: Hannah Warner

Grade: 11

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win?

Yes very surprised, I work in the main office so I don’t hear announcements, I didn’t find out until later in the day and thought people were messing with me.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS?

I am a Rebels for Life Leader, I am in academic games, I teach JA, I am in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, I am a main office assistant, and I am on the girls soccer team.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month?

Just keep up a great attitude!

What is your favorite subject, or class?

My favorite class is my history class.

What is your favorite thanksgiving food?

My favorite Thanksgiving food is mashed potatoes.

 

Name: Lionel Deanes

Grade: 12

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win?

Yes I was surprised because I feel that I don’t deserve it. I feel that there are many other students worthy of student of the month, other than me.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS?

Football, Basketball, Environmental club, NHS, AVTV, Junior Achievement

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month?

Work hard and study, do you homework- just do everything you are supposed to do and it will all work out.

What is your favorite subject, or class?

My favorite subject is history because I love learning about how the world was in the past. I love learning about the philosophers. My favorite class right now is math with Ms. S.

What is your favorite thanksgiving food?

It’s the Macaroni and Cheese
