Student of the Month: October 2018

Congratulations to the following individuals who were selected as Student of the Month. These students were chosen by the faculty because of their outstanding character, respect for others, Christian attitude and active involvement in the community of Seton-La Salle.

Name: Trey Montgomery

Grade: 9

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yes, because I didn’t really realize I was doing anything to be rewarded for.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Football

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Stay positive, and always respect others.

What is your favorite subject, or class? Math, Geometry with Ms. Choura.

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Jingle Bells

Name: Skyler Wrubleski

Grade: 10

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Wrubleski was surprised. She wasn’t expecting to hear her name on the announcement. She was essatic.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Marching Band, Girls Bowling, Girls Golf, Jazz Band, PJAS, Environmental Club, SADD just to name a few.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? To try their best and be involved, but most importantly enjoy your time in high school.

What is your favorite subject, or class? This year her favorite class is Algebra 2 with Mrs. Jackson.

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Happy Christmas “War is Over” by John Lennon

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Forensics, basketball, environmental club, volleyball.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Work hard

Grade: 12th grade

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yeah I was!

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? I do bowling, environmental club, and Big sister/little sister.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Be positive and have a good outlook on things.

What is your favorite subject, or class? Environmental science

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? I don’t really enjoy Christmas music.
