Congratulations to the following individuals who were selected as Student of the Month. These students were chosen by the faculty because of their outstanding character, respect for others, Christian attitude and active involvement in the community of Seton-La Salle.

Name: Adeline Meinert

Grade: 9th Grade

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yes, because she did not really know what student of the month was.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Forensics, Trebels, Musical.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Working hard pays off.

What is your favorite subject, or class? Biology.

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Jingle Bells.

Name: Sarah Warywoda

Grade: 10th grade

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yes, very much.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Girls Who Code, drama club, colorguard, campus ministry, and junior achievement.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Just try your best and be yourself.

What is your favorite subject, or class? Honors Algebra 2 with Mrs. Jackson.

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Silent Night

Name: Anna Mathias

Grade: 11

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? I was surprised because there are a lot of other students who would also be deserving.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? PJAS, forensics, Rebels for Life, SADD, Environmental Club, Campus Ministry, Ambassadors, Retreat Leader, and Fall Drama

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Try your hardest and do your homework.

What is your favorite subject, or class? Pre-calculus with Ms. Choura

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Little Drummer Boy

Name: James Sanchioli

Grade: 12

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Very much so.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? I am involved in cross country, swimming, PJAS, Marching and Concert band.

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Just try your best and work hard. All hard work is awarded.

What is your favorite subject, or class? Favorite subject is science, favorite class.is chemistry with Mrs. Brinzer because it was challenging and in the end you actually learned something. The class taught him to study.

What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Carol of the Bells.
