Student of the Month: February

Congratulations to the following individuals who were selected as Student of the Month. These students were chosen by the faculty because of their outstanding character, respect for others, Christian attitude and active involvement in the community of Seton-La Salle.

Grade: Senior

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yes , it was very unexpected and I was so excited!

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Cheerleading captain, big and little sisters, rebels for life, environment club, Extraordinary minister, and Investment club

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? It can actually happen with hard work, respect for others and with determination you can accomplish this goal

What is your favorite subject, or class? Economics (Schrader), Art

What did you give up for lent? Unhealthy food, ice tea

Grade: Junior

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yeah I was really surprised. I walked into homeroom and Mr. Carter said I was student of the month, and I said ‘you’re lying.’

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Varsity Football and Baseball, FCA, Investment Club, AVTV, NHS, Campus Ministry

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Keep working hard, always strive to be your best

What is your favorite subject, or class? Physics, but he enjoys english and religion as well

What did you give up for lent? Cookies

Grade: Sophomore

Were you surprised by either your nomination, or win? Yes, I was blown away. I expected someone else to win.

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Cross Country, Track, Rebels for Life, International club, Prayer Planning committee, campus ministry, band jazz band, and marching band)

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Don’t procrastinate with your work and study hard!

What is your favorite subject, or class? Latin, but I like all of my classes.

What did you give up for lent? Chips, Popcorn, Gum, and Instagram

Which extracurricular activities or sports are you involved in, here at SLS? Cross Country, Yearbook

What’s your advice for other aspiring students of the month? Just be a good person and be kind to everyone, idk make it happen?

What did you give up for lent? Being mean to my brother
