Softball

Seton- La Salle is one of the four remaining undefeated softball teams in the WPIAL. Yes, that means that girls’ softball is undefeated. They ended their season 14 – 0 and are section champs. They have hit it in the double digits for 7 of their games so far. The season may be done, but they are starting play-offs next week with high hopes of going far and possibly making it to the championships.

Seton –La Salle has been led offensively by Lauren Zola, Jess Weiss, Marisa McAndrews, Michelle Potenziani and Taylor Mercurio.

All the seniors are going to continue playing softball on the college level next year. Marisa McAndrews and Christina Folino will be attending and playing for St. Vincent, while Senior, Michelle Potenziani will be going to CCAC and playing softball there.

Senior, Marisa McAndrews says, “We have had so much success with our season and continue to work hard in practice” Even though the main season is over there is still playoffs. “Seniors have a lot of faith in their team,” says Michelle Potenziani. Good Luck Lady Rebels.
