On February 4, 2017, Seton LaSalle students will dance ‘with the fish’ at the snowball dance held at the PPG Aquarium. Students are excited for the change of venue from the Gateway Clipper to the Aquarium. There will be a shuttle running from 6:30-7:30 pm to transport students from the gate to the dance. The shuttle will run again to take students back to the main entrance between 10 and 11 pm. There will be beverages and chips with dip served during the dance and it will conclude at 10:30 pm.
Seton LaSalle senior, Sydney Peretin says “I have never gone to snowball before, but I think it’s really cool that it’s going to be at the Aquarium. I’m excited to see all the fishies.”
Senior Ryan Kendrick has a completely opposite opinion, “I am excited that there is a new change in location, but I am not thrilled that it’s at the aquarium. I just don’t feel like the Aquarium is a good place to have a dance.” Many students disagree with Kendrick’s statement saying that they are excited to be at a new place and they think having it at the Aquarium is going to be really fun.
Snowball is not the most popular school dance, but with the change of venue, many kids are bouncing with excitement at the fact that they can dance ‘with the fish’.
